Ganesh Himal Trekking can be accessed from the high trail
from the east or west; through Gorka (stopping to visit the famous Gorka Palace,
ancestral home of the Kings of Nepal); or through Arughat. There are some basic
tea houses on the Manaslu part of the region but not sufficient to make the
region a tea house trek, you need to have good camping gear and provisions to be
able to cross some high passes.. |

Ganesh Himal
is named after the elephant-headed Hindu God of Good
Fortune, also worshipped as the ‘Remover of Barriers’.
The peaks of the Ganesh Range (Yangra/Ganesh I, Ganesh
Northwest/Ganesh II, Salasungo/Ganesh III and Pabil/Ganesh
IV) form a stunning subsection of the Nepal Himalaya
Trek and the name comes from a ridge on the south face
of Ganesh IV tmagarhat is reminiscent of an elephant’s
trunk. Although it has no peaks over 7,500m, the Ganesh
Himal towers above the surrounding valleys of the Buri
Gandaki in the west and Bhote Koshi in the east. Nepal
Visitors recently promoting this areas. Ganesh Himal is
one of the Nepal's renowned peak particularly as the
best tourist destination, situated in central Nepal,
northwest of Kathmandu. The trek to Ganesh Himal offers
the terraced hillsides dominating the sky as well as
ethnical diversity from various groups & their mixed of
lifestyle that gives you a glimpse into real Nepali life
& the tour gives the trekkers an ample opportunity to
observe the rich Nepalese cultural tradition being very
closer with locals, & definitely giving you a sense of
full satisfaction. Ganesh Himal trek is one of the best
trek in central Nepal which is north of Kathmandu valley
and the trekking route is non touristy trail, where less
people visit this area. This trek involves no flight,
the passes ar not very difficult and the trekking region
is relatively warmer. However this trek offers authentic
experience of Gurung, Magar and Tamang cultures,
beautiful farm terraces and superb views of Ganesh Himal,
Manaslu, Annapurna Himalaya Massif, Singla Bhanjyang,
Pangsang Bhanjyang, interaction with local peoples,

Day 01:
Arrive in Kathmandu, Welcome by Nepal Visitors and
Transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing Tour
Day 03: Kathmandu - To Betrawati (5 hours bus drive)
Day 04: Betrawati - Kispang (1600m)
Day 05: Kispang - Thulo Chaur (2200m)
Day 06: Thulo Chaur - Gonga (2900m.)
Day 07: Gonga - Rupchet (3635m.); the base camp of Shing
La pass
Day 08: Cross Shingla pass 4100m and trek to Kharka
(2500m) , 7 hours walk.
Day 09: Kharka – Pangsang la (4100m.) 6 hours walk.
Day 10: Pangsang-la - Tipling (2000 m)
Day 11: Tipling - Borang (1700m)
Day 12: Borang - Jharlang (1700m)
Day 13: Jharlang - Kintang Phedi (800m)
Day 14: Kintang Phedi - Jemrung (1800m)
Day 15: Jemrung - Dhading Bensi (700m)
Day 16: Dhading bensi - bus drive back to Kathmandu
